Dr. Ashley Joy graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014, after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University in 2010.
Prior to becoming a veterinary consultant, she worked for over five years in a private small animal hospital focusing on preventative medicine, surgery, and medical care for companion pets, as well as the occasional zoo animal and wildlife patient. One of her favorite veterinary experiences has been working with clients to bring medical care to their pets in the Galapagos Islands.
Dr. Joy, her husband, and new daughter live in Northern Arizona with their two dogs, one cat, and numerous fish. Her interests outside of veterinary medicine include art history, reading, rock climbing, and playing board games with friends and family.
